Question HELP starting new quilt...need ideas

O.k., so im finally making a quilt for myself.
I love pink and white, so thats what im using.
I got a nice solid white, crisp and clear.
then a out twenty pinks, all shades from pale baby pastel with white butterflies to hot pink.
So...it will look like a scrap quilt, but we know it isnt.
What design would you suggest to use this ammount and maybe more of the pinks.
Thanksfor all uour help.
If possible, can you post a pic id your suggestion
Than you again.

What do you like? If you are traditional, you could easily do bow ties in every shade of pink with white as the background. Very pretty. If you are a bit more modern, I'd say you have enough colors to do one of the many bargello patterns. Whatever you do will be great because pink is the best color!

The heart Bargello is not difficult and I think it would be lovely in pinks and white.

I have pink and white pinwheel blocks that I made a few years ago sitting in a tub. Pinwheels make a lovely quilt. My blocks are 12 by 12 inches. Haven't put them together yet, but did make another with pink, white and green and it turned out lovely. Well, at least I think so. Good luck with whatever you decide.

The scrappy Bargello is a great one. I made mine with a pink Jelly Roll and it turned out great. It was a free pattern.

Back when think pink was popular I bought a bunch of pink charms. Just used white to sash each block. It turned out great. Wish pink was as popular again and would buy more pink charms since my great granddauther is in princess mode.

I would do one with the pink fabrics scrapping in the "nine patch around" pattern. simple quick and fun.

You make a nine patch using 5 squares of a solid (white or cream solid), and 4 of the pink scraps in the size square you like( i like 6 1/2 square for a 6 " block). you then make pink scrap squares (same size as the nine patch block) using the pink scraps, let them on point, (one nine patch, one pink print square, alternate). it looks scrappy, but elegant, but it is a simple set up.

I guess it depends on what level you are wanting to work at Do you want hard and amazing, or simple and elegant, or crazy and modern? I like nhweavers idea...here is a very basic mock up...
