Help
I am currently making a large bug jar style quilt but instead I am using fruit and vegetable fabrics. I want to include baskets filled with fruits and vegetables but I am not sure what size I should cut the fabric to make the baskets or how I should design the baskets. Please help.

Here is an applique quilt with lots of options.

Personally, I would get some basket weave fabric and applique a simple bowl type shape and fill with fruits/flowers.

Somewhere on QB there is a quilt with potatoes in crates and you can type in the title in the search box. It was part of their Farmer's Jar quilt. It was done by goose point and a picture is under the title....Free Jar Quilt Patterns- Per Everyone's Request. She also has a close- up picture of the baskets and crates she designed herself. Great quilt!

Here's a link to the post that Tartan mentioned. http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...s-t148554.html It really is a great quilt, a perfect way to showcase those veggie fabrics.
