    Help with Toni Whitney Patterns

    Hi all!

I know there are some big Toni Whitney fans on here. I would love some pointers on how to work out her patterns. I have seen a few of the postings about these patterns, but I haven't seen anything with the step by step process written out. If there is one can someone direct me to it? If not I would love to hear your wisdom on how to start and put together one of her patterns. From the cutting process, ironing the applique pieces, using the applique pressing sheet, placement, stitching the pieces down etc... You get the idea. Oh, and does anyone know if there are any Youtube videos with someone doing a Toni Whitney pattern?

    Thanks!

    Micha

If there is a step by step process written out, I'd love to see it. She does tell you what sections need to be made first and then added to the rest of the pattern which is helpful. But you are right, the patterns are a little tricky to put together, at least I thought so.

I decided to figure it out for myself and use the order that works best for me. The instructions are a little jumbled. I prefer a more step by step also.

Thanks for posting these photos - I bought three of her patterns to make and give as gifts for (very) good friends after the first of the year. I was going to take the time between Christmas and New years to play around with one of them to get a technique down, and you've confirmed what I'd worked out in my head.
