Help! trying to make tote bag

I'm trying to make the tote bag from this site : http://madquilter.blogspot.com/2009/...-bag-free.html and am stuck on construction step 13. I've double checked how I connected the sides, but I can see how she got the two charms flat. Any help will. Be appreciated. Thanks

I think making mistakes and figuring out how to fix them is a great learning tool.

Did you solve it? Or do you still need help?

I have made virtually the same bag and the key to getting everything to fit is marking the dots and sewing up to them and NO further. I didn't print that pattern out but I assume it has the dots I'm talking about. I put a braided handle on mine and I love it.
