I like the first choices, especially since it is a Chanukah quilt. I like the white menorah fabric inner border and the dark blue outer border.

I made a similar quilt for my first quilt years ago. I didn't even realize the fabric was for Chaunakah until later.

I agree! Could you maybe put a sleeve on it & present it as a wall hanging? I would think there are a lot of people that would love to have such an elegant quilt adoring their walls during the holidays.

The second choice would be my pick for this quilt. I like the pattern in the border and also that it does act as a stop for the center portion. Then the dark blue frames the whole thing. Very nice workmanship on this lovely quilt.

I hope your friend feel better soon.

I prefer a light followed by dark binding.

I really like the first choice with light patterned border followed by the darker blue.

Thanks for your input everyone! I will take the options to my friend and let her decide. A wallhanging would be nice, but the recipient lives in NYC, and wall space is at a minimum!

I think the 3rd pic is the best looking one out of all 4 pics -the light blue then the dark blue binding carries the feel of the quilt best. The brown was too much distraction for me.

Since it is for a friend who celebrates Hanukkah I like the border wit h the candlesticks. I believe it could be used all year round if she is a devote Jewish person.
