I like the 3rd option best. I'm Jewish and celebrate Chanukah and just like the symbols out at that time
of year. Just my opinion. I wouldn't mind the stars but the Menorah would be too seasonal for me. Like having a Christmas tree on a quilt and using it all year. Just personal preference.

I like the darker blue in the 1st picture. Generally I go with a darker border--framing the quilt. I am in VA and waited 6 weeks to see a rheumatologist several years back. He was worth the wait as he did know what my problem was (PMR--a self limiting arthritic condition treated with steroids). This is a specialty that doesn't pay big money like plastic surgery, cardiology, etc. so it's not one a lot of younger doctors choose. There just aren't that many of them. Good luck to your friend.

I too like the blue against the gold in the first picture. Brings out the bright blue. I do not like the brown print. Too busy and does not bring out anything. You are a good friend!

Love it with the brown! I hope your friend recovers enough to enjoy quilting again.

I like the third picture best. The light blue & then the dark blue (to me) makes the rest of the quilt really pop. It is going to be beautiful what ever you chose.
