I pulled out a UFO. It's that king Bali Wedding Star. Took me six hours to figure out where I stopped. I really have over half of it done.

I decided to border it with flying geese instead of doing the traditional DWR scalloped finish because it will make the sizing more flexible and it will fit my bed better. Plus I really really do not want to do all that scalloped binding. Now I have enough left over to make accent pillows and maybe valances.

Somewhere along the line, I used one of the fabrics on some other project. Luckily I have just enough to finish it. I just wont use that color in the geese.

Yes the avatar is one square. There are 15 squares plus another 12 or so insets. I have all of the insets done plus 6 of the squares. I figured out I have the other 9 squares all partially done. Then there are a million flying geese and a couple borders.

Was supposed to be done by Christmas 2010...NOT!

This one is on my to do list, so I'm anxiously awaiting pictures of your quilt. How about some 'in progress'?
