We are all on an artistic journey and we will all have different paths. I think you have reached a resting place when you can say that you will proceed cautiously and enjoy each step and move ahead. Why do we quilt and create is as important as the production factor. We all need to leave time and space to just enjoy the process and take on new challenges.

I have come a long way since I started quilting in 2010. Mastered my walking foot and straight lines, and even some fmq. Purchased a HQ Sweet Sixteen and have come quite a ways in my fmq on her. Decided to start using rulers, since I tend toward modern and straight lines......... WELL!....................... it's a whole new ball game out there! I can see mistakes I never knew even existed!

Think about all you have learned on your journey and continue to enjoy your journey in the wonderful world of quilting. Have a great new year, just enjoying what you are creating.

a great, different way of looking at things.
    have fun!
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.
