Are you asking for another design that's not hexies? If so, go to Bonnie Hunter's quiltville.com site you're sure to get inspiration there. And it won't take forever. EPP is something that I gave up on because it hurt my left hand.

lynnie, I'm working on Grandmother's Flower Garden...but have been looking at the Lucy Boston Patchwork of the Crosses. Oh, such beautiful blocks..only uses 2 templates, the honeycomb and square. You can google it or go to u-tube and look up video by Linda Franz. I joined a group on facebook and they are doing this one, also look on Pinterest. Can you tell..I'm wanting to start one of these quilts....just not enough hours in the day...sandi227

Thought I edited this.....wanting to know if you made the pattern for the diamonds that fit between the hexies....just got a new hexie, diamond, etc book from amazon.....quilting on the go..great ideas for hand work and also sources for supplies no affiliation, just happy to have book for pattern ideas.

That quilt is amazing! I am looking for a longtime project for hand sewing & that could be it...*thinking*although it makesmy Farmers Wife quilt look like awalk in the park!!!
