That just doesn't seem to make sense but there is so much that doesn't in this day and time.

Sadly for us Canucks and everyone else that doesn't live in the USA, here is the response:
Hello and thank you for your email. Please accept our sincere apology for the delay in getting back to you with this response.

From your postal code, it appears you reside in Canada. Currently, the Scripps Networks web sites only offer video content to site visitors in the U.S. and its territories due to content licensing restrictions. Unfortunately, we have no definitive answer as to whether this situation will be changed in the near future, but we do hope you will continue to visit and enjoy our sites as they are exciting destinations for all things related to home, food and lifestyle.

    Best regards,
    Scripps Networks Customer Service

At least now we know there's nothing wrong with the site or our computers and there's no point trying to look! (Sigh.... :-( )
Why would it matter whether or not your in the U.S or not for you to view those internet videos?

If they are basic tutorials, why not have someone go to connecting threads and see if they have something similar.

Youtube.com and Ehow.com may have something similar. or you can search hulu.com and see if they have posted the vids there.

Say. You are quite right. What does the viewer's location have to do with it?
Does one government or another, for instance, block internet content from some sites?( I do know China was blocking some sites years ago, but don't know about now.)

What sense does that make to block crafting sites?
    I think I don't understand about this.
