Thank you for the Amazon link! I am going to try it on my Brother 1500. I can't lose much if it doesn't fit.

That's what I thought when I bought it, too! I just wanted to be able to use some of my low shank feet that I bought for my cheap brother machine. I was really glad when it worked.

I have 2 Brothers and dislike the SID foot as I can't keep the needle in the ditch. Prefer to use the ordinary sewing foot with the clear plastic insert, with the needle at the center position. I find this method much simpler

I have this same adapter for my PQ1500 and it works like a charm with my snap on feet from my Janome. The Only issue I have is with snap on SITD feet because they are NOT all the same and some are alot more off then others with my PQ. I had to play around with different ones to find one that actually lined up the best.

I ordered the foot last night and it has shipped already. But the expected delivery date is between July 15th and July 30th. LOL!! Good thing I am not desperate for the adapter.

I wiuld be very careful in switching feet between machine and especailly between brands. The specs on the feet that actually belong to your machine and made to fit that brand/model. Feet made for other brands/model number may seem to fit/work but may actually be slightly off and may damage your machine. I recommend that you use the part number recommended for your machine. cheap part = high service carge.
