Default holy cow....thrift store find

I bought this fabric for 6.90. I knew it was heavy when I picked it up and it turned out to be about 13 yards! I'm a happy camper!

Isn't it great to find deals like that? At least half of my considerable stash is thrift store and yard sale finds.

I never find fabric in the thrift stores around, but I certainly do get really great buys on clothing, shoes and purses. Like a Coach purse for $10.00 or $2.50 for Etienne shoes (never worn, still had the original price tag on them). It's a church run shop and everything is donated and it is all really nice stuff. They run a bag sale every now and then and that's how I got alot of my stuff, or they have buy one, get one free - that's how I got the Coach bag, paid $10.00 for that and got a Pendleton Mills wool coat free. But I never see material there. Would love to see a pic of what you got

I got a brand new fossel bag for 15.00 a couple weeks ago at the assistance league thrift shop.!! I planned on giving it to my sister for Christmas . I know that sounds cheap and cheesy to get someone a present from there. But, I happened to know the price of this bag! I was there with my sis, so that was a bad idea! She pestered and pestered me to give it to her. That is her favorite brand of status purse. So.... I just gave it to her early. Why not?? I saved hundreds. LOL!

Congrats on your fabric find! I never see any nice fabrics at the stores around here.

I never find fabric at thrift stores either. I think people around here donate there's to our quilt guild because they have tons to make quilts for donations.
