I so understand, the heat in Houston is miserable as well, fans just blow more hot air - stay cool

I am so sorry. So glad you are able to go to your sisters. It is 107 here today so believe me we are in the house.

Yeah, we need cooler days too. We are on day 85 of over 100 degrees this summer. Unfortunately, most days have been 108. (Wichita Falls) I figure this can't last more than 30 more days!! :) At least I have got a lot of quilting done. Too hot to do anything outside.

Ditto from The Woodlands, just north of Houston. Last night at 7 o clock, the thermometer said 102---and it feels hotter. Our air condition is churning away and the yard is browning.

Texas certainly is taking a hit with the heat.

Fans cool you better if you keep wet (or at least keep your face wet)...with a plant mister bottle or other squirt bottle. Just spray your face and stand near the fan so it will help evaporate it and cool you.
