Default Hot Wheels road quilt

I was watching my grandson play with his hot wheels this a.m. & thought about making a small quilt with road that he can play on with his hod wheels. Has anyone make something like that. For some reason, I think I did see something like that on this board. I have no idea on how to do it, could use suggestions. Thanks! olga

I think in the past there have been panels or yardage available that are printed with roads. If you want to piece it yourself, I would work a road system out on graph paper.

The panel I bought about 2 or 3 years ago but I have no clue who made it. Good luck finding it. I would Google it.

I went to Yahoo and typed in Quilt with roads and cars on it. These are the image results https://images.search.yahoo.com/sear...%26+cars+on+it

Lots of good ideas.

The panel I used had the roads, railroads, bridges, and a village. Don't know who made it. It was very similar to the play rugs made for kids' rooms.

I've made several using Thomas the Train fabric and trains. I made pockets along one edge so the trains had a place to park. Add a couple of ribbons or Velcro and roll to store. I've also made these play mats for girls using princess fabrics.

When my son was little I had him design his quilt, I pieced and my mom quilted it. It is a keeper 3 generations worked on that quilt. My mom has passed.

I think I saw some fabric(or fleece) at JoAnn's with Hot Wheels design.
