Default Houston TX area - Trailer stolen at Quilt Market 10/30-10/31/2016

Jamie Wallen ~ owner of Quilters Apothecary of Michigan City, IN~ is reporting that his trailer was stolen in Houston, TX at Quilt Market the night of 10/30 - 10/31/2016. It contains merchandise (his rulers, etc), his quilts and customer quilts.

Indiana license plate TR388APP on a white Hallmark 6' x 12' trailer.

If you see the trailer, someone with awesome quilts, or Quilters Apothecary merchandise, call the authorities.

I just watched his video on his Facebook page, heartbreaking! I hope someone sees the trailer and reports it to the police. All his class supplies and samples are gone as well. Be on the look out on eBay and other sites in case someone tries to sell things.

This is absolutely devastating to Jamie. His whole life and business was in that trailer. I'm going to Houston this week with a friend, and we plan on finding Something on his website we can order from him, just to try to help.

Its sad he didn't have a trailer hitch lock. I wouldn't be without one.

I would hope the police are looking at the security cameras on the highways and streets to find the trailer being pulled. It won't be that hard to spot that size trailer even with a fast repaint being pulled down the road during that time frame. Each one can be verified as to who owns it. It's becoming very disturbing that good people have to go to extremes to protect what is theirs.

We just had a Habitat for Humanity truck with the name emblazzoned on the side stolen from their own locked yard. The thief ran down the gate and fence getting out. Recovered in 48 hours thankfully. I did a google search on such a thing and found that in just the last two years, several Habitat trucks were stolen.

Thiefs will steal anything and are able to get around most locks. Alarms are a good thing if the trailer is parked next to the hotel room.

That's so sad. I hope it can be recovered.
