Your First Quilt Book...or it should be by Carol Doak
Quilter's Complete Guide by Fons & Porter
Quilts, Quilts, Quilts by Diana McClun and Laura Nownes
I used all 3 and they are great!
When you search the title on Amazon...they offer a link to used ones at good prices.

I recently got the Better Homes and Gardens Complete Guide to Quilting. It is a hardback with rings in side, lays flat, lots of pictures and excellent written information. It is laid out in a very logical and orderly manner.
I also have the Fons and Porter book.
