How do you clean the lint off the back of a sticky slider?
How do you clean the lint off the back of a sticky slider? I bought a teflon slider with a tacky back. Now it has gotten lint on it and it doesn't want to stay in place. Can anyone give me a hint? Thanks.

Is the back tacky like those tacky roller things for clothing? Plasticky rather than adhesive? If so, you should be able to just rinse it off under water from the faucet. (I don't have one, but my thinking is it's likely to be that tacky plastic rather than adhesive.)

all you have to do is hold it under running cold water. All the lint comes off. Then lay the slider down with the underside up to the air and let it air dry. I kept the plastic 'bag' and the folder that was inside to store the slider in. That way, nothing gets to it to get it all linty. However, that being said, lint does seem to be attracted to that side of the slider no matter how careful you are! Oh well. :-)
