    That's a nice ruler but I hate sewing all those strips together...

    I tried the tube method and hated doing it. I think it was because of drawing the lines and using a scissor to cut those lines. Quicker to just use a rotary cutter as long as I have the ruler on the fabric. I don't mind sewing the smaller seams. This ruler was on sale and I made a special trip to get it and I never regretted purchasing it. I also use Susan Brown's smaller binding ruler to finish sewing the last seam.
