Oh - PERFECT!
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
Oh - PERFECT!
This is the first blue and brown that I like together. It will be good.
I am doing a dark, dark blue and bright orange for my GS and wife in the Drunkards path pattern. Sort of Asian fabrics and they are Japanese and Cambodian so it is their choice. I only have a couple of blocks done but I like it.
If I can take a photo of a block I will post it.
Same here.Originally Posted by Dolphyngyrl
Likewise. I like the fabric, but cut up small enough for DP, I don't think I would care for it myself. JMHO The design would be too disrupted.Originally Posted by bearisgray

Oh yes! Go for it.

maybe use in the border but not in the block
will distract from the block
my opinion :-D
Suggestion ... audition it.
cut drunkard path holes in sheets of paper or cloth in the contrast color you plan to use, lay it on the fabric. Or cut a few pieces.
It sounds like a good idea, but IMHO, you are going to lose the impact of both the drunkard's path pieces AND your wavy fabric.
(cool if I'm wrong, tho)
