    You might check quilterscache.com and see if the block is there as they have hundreds of blocks, and includes directions for piecing the blocks.

    Eleanor Burns has a similar one in this block. If I remember correctly, she made an hour glass and cut it down. It's been a little while since I watched it, so don't remember the details.

    whenever I have a block I am having trouble deconstructing, I make a large copy, cut it up and play with the pieces as templates. Often the pieces will go together and it is easy to see how to cut them apart. Remember to add in the seam allowance. Can save on waste from making larger block and trimming them down.

    I found the tutorial for this block...........Go to......Quilting On Main Street ---------Then look for July 11, 2011 --a hourglass block was cut down.

    After posting this, I saw that someone had already posted it...........
