Default How do you make your quilt labels?

I've been asking my quilting buddies how they make their quilt labels. Answers have ranged from: they don't make one, use cross stitch, Micron pen, machine embroidery. So my question to you is: How do you make quilt labels, and why do you like that method?
Thanks, I'm trying to find a new method.

If you just want your name and the date, there is a tutorial on placing the information with your machine alphabet on your binding. It is in the QB tutorial section.

I use a printer and Printed Treasures fabric. In addition to the information on the label, I add colored graphics that go with the name of the quilt. For example, recently I made the label for a quilt called Tee Time. The quilt used cloth from the Hole in One fabric collection. I put a golfer teeing off on the label. For Blessings of Autumn that I finished last week, I put an autumn looking scarecrow on one side of the label and a horn of plenty with fruits and vegetables on the other side. I enjoy finding clip art for the colorful labels. For me, the labels printed on fabric are easy and fun to make.

I use a sharpie on muslin. I think years from now it would be nice to have a label with the maker's own handwriting.

I print the words onto paper trace on to calico with a pencil (this stops wonkyness) then hand embroider the words. I generally handstitch the label to the back. These days my penmanship is pretty terrible, so this works for me.

depends on the quilt the label is going on- sometimes i design a label on the computer & print it onto fabric, sometimes i use a micron pigma pen, sometimes i embroider something, sometimes i incorporate one right into the construction of the quilt, sometimes i write directly on the quilt...every quilt has it's own label-with it's own considerations for design/type/method
