A quilt your size..nice throw size..depending on how its quilted takes a day on the longarm if using an all over meander. do you have a longarm or looking for someone to quilt it for you?

Ha! The only longarm I will ever see in this house is the one my husband will be using to hide his wallet! We don't have space for a longarm set up. I would like to (eventually) find a used tabletop set up like a Handi Quilter II that can be taken down when I'm finished. At this juncture I am even considering a Flynn frame. Hand quilting is out. I was a miserable failure at it and the thought of having to poke my finger to build a callous skeeves me out. I won't even let a Dr. do a finger stick; if they want blood they have to draw it from a vein or they don't get it.

Depends how much you work on it. If you handquilt everyday. it won't take so long. Me---I need a break here and there. LOL

FMQ on my 7700 - meandering.....queen size a couple of hours. Seems like it takes longer for me to bind.

It just depends on if I custom quilt or allover. I use a longarm mostly, so it would all depend.

long-arm; anywhere from 2 hours to 20 hours-depending on the intricacy of the quilting design
domestic--2hours to 6 hours
hand quilt-- 100-200 hours
portable frame- 4-8 hours
gracie- 2-6 hours

This would depend on if you want me to count all the hours of ripping.
