Do you have more than one color of thread that you use to quilt and piece with?

Is the bottom thread the same as the top? Or do you just use one neutral color?

I am a longarmer and I don't use many different colors.

I use 4 different colors of grey, camel, light tan and natural the most often on quilts especially scrap quilts. I was so happy last week to get to use yellow. I do match the top and bobbin thread.

If there is not a thread that matches my patchwork or one that will do for all patches, I am back to those colors I quilt with

I mostly use muted, neutral colors. I use off white with light fabric.

i usually use a neutral thread in top and bottom. however, my next project is supposed to have purple squares and they look too pink. so i am using a dark purple in that 9-patch to make the pink look more purple. i'll still use a neutral on the back

I have lots of colors that I quilt with -- it depends on the colors in the quilt. I try to match the bobbin and the top. If I use metalic I choose a color that is close and if I use varigated I may pull one of the colors in the varigated or I use the same thread.

whatever color is in my machine at the time.. I have a rainbow of colors.. Probably over a hundred color choices.. I use what I like, what I want, but more often i use natural, sandstone, beige, off white, light tan for piecing..

I have a set of Rayon "colors" for top stitching, but mostly do a neutral for piecing and quilting.

If the quilt has say a purple border and orange and white design would you quilt all one color?
