How Many Famous Quilters can you name?

I wondered how many famous quilters - quilters who have earned recognition in the quilting world- can you come up with?

    I can name a couple

    John Flynn
    Georgia Bonesteel

What about you? How many can you list?

Ellie Senkowitz, Libby Lehman, Porter & Fons, Alex Anderson, Bethany Reynolds, Eleanor Burns. I slid down without reading the other answers, though I did see Carol Doak on someone's post. Mary Kay Ryan and Susan Damone Balch are Vermont quilters who are gaining national notoriety, I think. This is fun!

It is like authors, I don't pay much attention. So, the only one I know is one my aunt mentions frequently and I have more than one book of and that is Eleanor Burns. can't name a single other. I did see John Flynn and did not know he was a famous quilter. I met him at a show once where he was selling that funky frame.
