Now that I have decided to hand quilt my wall hanging, I can see why so many people make quilt top after quilt top yet don't actually turn their quilt tops into finished quilts. Quilting is tedious and hurts my fingers. lol I WILL continue and I won't give up but I'm itching to start another quilt top. How many quilt tops do you have that are waitin for the day you find enough energy to make them into actual quilts? :-D

Ummmmmmm...... well....... maybe about 10 that are already "sandwiched" that need the quilting. That is not my strong point!

I would say more than 10...... less than 25  Six are sandwiched and "ready" to quilt. the others...... not so much!!! No sense rushing. One day I will take a whole day and quilt the sandwiched ones. That is if I don't find some new fabric that I can't leave alone !!!

I think there are about 6 sitting on my long-arm waiting. I have been sewing up a storm. But I am getting the itch to long-arm so I am sure there is getting ready to be some standing time in my life!

Because I taught, I have many that were class samples that have not been quilted. When I counted last they came to over 50, but about half were wallhanging size, & not large enough for a bed. Fortunately I was smart enough to make sure I had the binding made & put w/the top. Woe! & Disaster!! to finish quilting only to not have binding fabric (I almost always match binding to last border)
Believe me, this is definitely one category I'm NOT proud to have the largest # in (so far;)
