    Hey, is your avatar a pic of a quilt you made? That is similiar to what I am making for a Christmas gift. I really like quilts like that.

    Yes it is quiiltkitty. It was something I came up with myself. I cut the fish out of a printed fabric of all kinds of fish and appliques them on. I drew the grass freehand and cut them out of batiks. Same with the coral.

    It was a lot of fun. Thougth you might want to see a bigger picture.

    my avatar is of my very first quilt....a sampler that I am half finished hand quilting. Here is another picture of the whole thing

    well thank you, from one newbie to another! I see that your quilt is quite the beauty too....I absolutely love the way the fish are "moving" in and out of the frame. Great job!
