I would love to have one quilted by a professional, but can't afford it. I usually end up tying the quilts, but the one I'm working on now, I'm trying the quilt-as-you-go method. So far, it's going really good. I'm working on quilting the individual blocks right now. Hope when I go to put the blocks & rows together I can figure it out.

I hand quilt all of my quilts and usually have a new top made to go in the frame as soon as i finish another, i have those plastic frames very light weight, i baste my quilts first then put it in the frame , i'm working on a king size now due by Christmas, so i quilt when i feel like it i don't usually get in a hurry but i do have 2 more to do by Christmas also.I guess i'm going to have to speed up some haha. i feally enjoy all steps of quilting sounds like you do too, Happy Quilting Esther

Would any one be willing to post a picture of their quilting frames? I'm not sure what the plastic frames are.
