The Fat Quarter Shop has a grab bag of 12 lbs of fabric for $58.49, normally $64.99. I have no idea how much yardage that might be.

I'm going to order the grab bag of eight 1/2 yard cuts of the Harvest Home collection for $21. I have 2 jelly rolls of that plus two 1yd and one 2yd cuts. I have some tentative plans for it but I can expand my options beyond jelly roll size with the half yard cuts.

I used my postal scale to weigh a one-yard piece of quilting cotton and it was 4 ounces, so I would estimate close to 4 yards of fabric per pound. Kona cotton, which is a thicker weave, would be less yardage per pound.

Seems when I bought some fabric by the pound, it came out to about 3 yards/pound. :D

Still... 12 lbs @ 3yds per pound is 36 yards. Not bad for $58, that's $1.61 per yard of quality fabric. A yard at the same price as a FQ on sale sometimes.

Sounds like a great deal. I suspect most are small pieces -- probably irregularly sized eighths and quarter-yards.

Well, I ordered them. I'll see what I get... and post them.

That is a great value. Be sure and post when you receive it. I would like to know how you like it.

Pam,
Look at the bearpaw sale that someone else gave the link for. There is some harvest home fabric there for four dollars a yard. Your twenty one dollar buy makes it five dollars and ten cents a yard.
Put a search in for harvest home they will all come up. I am not sure what is left but, it is worth a try.
