Have started to hand quilt and have noticed places where the seams have come undone. I have already gone too far in the process to undo. Can I whip stitch the seams and hope for the best? Any other suggestions? Also have a place where there is a small cut in the block. A lesson to be learned is to check all seams/blocks before moving on to finish it. I have a lot of expense and time invested in it so would appreciate any suggestions to save this masterpiece. HA!!

You can do it by hand. Make sure that you enter the opposite side right across from where you come out. This way you won't see the thread. So, with other words, Go in on one side, come out -go to the other side directly across and come out a little further, go back to the other side, etc. So much easier to show you, but I hope you get the idea.

What is the pattern of the fabric? Is it a floral, stripe, Can you cut a small piece of the same pattern fabric and then hand sew it over the cut? I have done this before and you really couldn't tell where it was. I also have done the whip stitch thing. I know what ever you do it will be good. Please show us a picture. BrendaK
