Default How much fabric?

I would like to make a queen size rag quilt using my 8.5 go cutter rag die. Does anyone have any idea how much fabric I need to buy?

it depends on how many layers you plan to use. I would figure about 6 yds per layer. That is two lengths of the quilt (108")

Calculate the number of finished squares needed to get the size quilt you want. Then figure the yardage needed for that number of 9--10 " squares of fabric. You'll get 4 squares per WOF if you use efficient placement of the fabric on the die. And determine how much waste you'll have between rows of WOF.
