I am wanting to make a Bargello quilt, and need to know how much material it takes? I know I need 11 different colors, but need to know how much of each color to buy.
Thanks for any help you can give this newbie quilter.

Do you have a pattern ? It should tell you . It will all depend on the size of the quilt , sorry I can't be of more help

No I was reading about this on this board, but didn't see any mention of how much material it took. I think it was Barb someone who was doing the pattern. Thanks for answering though.

check out this site. I also notice that just above your question on the main menu is a Bargello tutorial entry.
The site above appears to give some good info. they use 7 fabrics and 3/8 yd each. Not sure what size that makes.

There's a thread "Bargello Tute" started by Kyiav10 that gives some yardage and it's a beginning to Barb_Mo's tutorial where she uses 11 fabrics. I don't know how to do the links.
