I spend more time every day on the computer than I do at the sewing machine, and *that's* the reason so few of the ideas roaming around in my head ever get completed. Just wondering how much time everyone else spends sewing each day. I'm going to have to set up some kind of schedule for myself and I want to be realistic about it.

When I saw your title I thought "she should ask how much time we spend on the board" and when I opened it you said what I was thinking!! hehe
I spend so much time here it's crazy. I'd probably have a lot more of everything done if I ditched my computer :D
I'm gonna follow this thread b/c I really do need some structure here. Thanks!

It depends... Sometimes I'll spend six hours working on something, and sometimes only 30 minutes or so. Normally I'll have a goal for the week, something like get ten blocks done, or put the borders on. Since I generally have more time on Saturdays, if I don't work on it all week, I can still finish what I need to!

I'm in my sewing room 6 or more hours per day. I'm not always quilting though. It's my favorite room and I like being in it. There are rooms in my house I haven't been in in weeks.

So what you're saying is.... too much time on computer = not enough time sewing (or put any other action word here). I think I'll leave this room, close the door, and see what I can accomplish today. Later gators!!

Mine varies considerably, but I agree, more time in here.

I spend more time on this board and talking about quilting than I do actual quilting! I just started a new job at the end of May, so I am tired when I get home at night and don't quilt, I read. Maybe now is the time to start my Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt. I usually quilt Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon with friends. When I win the lottery, I am opening my own fabric shop and the shop will have a huge room where people can come and work on their projects. LOL
