Default How Often Is Thread on Sale at Connecting Threads?? Need to Replentish My Supply

I bought one spool from Connecting Threads last month with a larger purchase (got free shipping) and have found it to be just as good and far less linty than the expensive kind I was using. I would like to purchase a bunch more and hear that they go on sale often. Do you have any idea how often?

Am not sure but I'd guess every 4-6 months. (This is when I get re-supplied). Love the threads!

I noticed a special buy on a box of the thread. 25 spools for $55. It's a good value. The box is even pretty. http://www.connectingthreads.com/thr...Thread--600901

I love their cone thread, very little lint and no breakage. Very reasonable and even more so when on sale.

Great deal on thread. I have never tried their thread, but with my next order I will try a spool. I collect thread, hundreds of spools. I use them all, love the feel of the older swedish thread. Don't use the off brands though, too linty.

I have used there thread many times and have found that it is not linty at all. I have recently used a major brand and it produced so much lint I will use it only for hand stitching.

Even when the threads are not on sale at Connecting Threads, you still save a bundle. Buy more than $50 worth and you get free shipping.

Hi, all--here is a newbie asking a question about thread that some of you may think is dumb! Can cones be used with any machine? I have a Singer approx20yrs. Have been drooling over another machine that I have picked out but it needs to stay on my wish list for a while.

Yes the cones work great with all the vintage machines I've tried - just use a thread stand behind the machine.

Put a felt disk and a spool of thread on the spool pin on your machine and run the thread from the thread stand to under the felt to wherever it needs to go next in the threading sequence.

Alternately, you could tape a closed safety pin (or a very large-eye darning needle) to the spool pin and run the thread from the thread stand to the safety pin.
