How to piece curves??

Match the notches pin and pin the ends, tent it with your fingers. It should fall together. Lay it under the needles and proceed at a slow to medium speed. I use my 1/4 foot to keep my line straight.
I am doing that Judy Niemyer Wedding Star...with that I pin the entire curve.

i pin drunkards path blocks and some don't. i match the centers of the "pie" piece and the 'arc" piece, pin. then match the ends and pin.then pin in between. works fine for me.

I tried that curve master foot, and could never get the hang of it, so I now sew drunkard paths, and curves without pinning. I sew very slowly taking only 3 or 4 stitches at a time, using my 1/4" foot, I very carefully manuver both pieces of fabric in opposite directions. All this without pulling or stretching either piece. Must say it is a lot easier than pinning each piece, and 99% of the time they come out perfect.
