Default how to quilt

I made a yellow brick road quilt for my gd she wanted red, white, and some black well that part was easy now comes the quilting would love any suggestions I have a la thanks.

Most times I do FMQ with a large stipple. My favorite quilting technique.

I agree with Jingle. A nice meander of stipple works well for quilts of this design.

I just did SID when I made a yellow brick road quilt, and I didn't even stitch in all the ditches, since the batting I used didn't require stitching to be too close together. I was quite happy with it, but might not work for everyone.

It depends on what you are using to quilt, a long arm or a standard sewing machine?? It also depends on you level of quilting experience. If you are just starting out, Dina's suggestion is the best to stitch in the ditch. You have to slowly feel comfortable with quilting before trying FMQ. Good Luck. I love making quilts for kids using red, black and white !!
