    Goodness Peckish, those are lovely!

Ive done as small as 3/4" finishing at 1/4 for a bargello row, but generally I don't go smaller than 1 1/4 strips. Any smaller would become stressful to me and I try not to let my stress release become my stressor!

Wow....looks like the needle point is larger than some of those pieces...kidding....seriously, are your seams trimmed to about 1/8" after sewing? I cannot see myself doing this.....I bought the book inchies..from a pic here on board.....looked like " maybe fun"........ When I went to cut that 1" square I shivered.....settled for 1 1/2"..........btw, donating book to guild library!

    Sue, wow, that's beautiful!

Peggi, they're so tiny, but gorgeous! Are they paper pieced? (That's something I haven't tried yet.)

I did one with 3/4" strips, not sure I want to do that small again. Think I will stick to nothing smaller than 1". Really liked the look, but found it hard to work with.

one 3" block, PP. Never again! `1/8" seams! Teeny pieces getting lost. So small they could get sucked into the feed dogs! UGH!!!Name: Mini paper piecing.jpg

DH has made many with 5/8" squares, I have done 1/4" strips (miniature quilts) but I still would not try even a regular size Pineapple block!

I've made mini log cabin blocks with 1/4 graph paper as the guide. It's perfect for tiny scraps. I admire anyone who does more than a log cabin. Working this tiny doesn't use many scraps.

DH says that if I start doing anything that small, he'll be calling the men in the little white coats. LOL Three inches is my lowest I'll go, actually don't plan on doing that small again, so, I think I'll settle for no smaller than 8". Lovely blocks/quilts though.
