How would you quilt a Hunter's Star

I've given this so much thought and can't decide whether to do something all-over or densely stitch all BUT the star...

When I quilted mine, I just did a 1/4 inch from each side of the stitch line on all the seams. It highlighted (echoed) the star pattern. It was simple to do, yet added some depth to the quilt.
Deb Watkins - I woke up today on the right side of dirt. It is a good day.

I wouldn't densely quilt the background. I quilted mine like Deb described:

A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort

Never regret growing older, its a privilege denied to many.
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

A guild member had different size all over circles quilted on her HS. It looked amazing.
    I love my life!
