How would you use this Fabric?

I bought a half metre of this house fabric -the pic is athttp://marciascraftysewing.blogspot....-cant-cut.html - and would love some ideas on how to use it in a baby quilt.
I'm not too keen on the writing so I thought of cutting it off following the wavy edge then cutting each row of houses into a long strip and sewing a pieced panel between each one to increase the size of the quilt. The wavy bottom I was thinking of appliqueing to the top of each pieced strip? What would you do?

Before I read your idea, I had thought that I would cut it in strips and add some type of simple blocks between each row. I like your idea of removing the writing. We think alike.

I would not remove the writing at all. The way the pictured quilt was made will make an adorable baby quilt. froggyintexas
