I, too, have made a very large red and cream Hunters Star Quilt. It is one of my favorites. I sent my quilt to be long-arm quilted. I just chose an overall pattern and it looks fantastic! Good luck!

I like this idea! I have no specific suggestions for the 4 large triangles though. I also wanted to tell you how much I love your quilt so far. Can't wait to see it finished!

I am super new to quilting but my first thought was circles in the diamond sections and SITD on the rest. Beautiful quilt!
