Our guild had Jan visit us last year. We did a workshop on the "Salsa Star". She is an awesome teacher and her lecture and trunk show were great.

I love that book! But before you start a project from that book, go to the website and print off the corrections.

http://www.jankrentz.com/store-errata.php?id=3

I was making the quilt from the cover and discovered after cutting/piecing the trapezoid templates were incorrect...too small...what does one do with 90+ too small trapezoids? I emailed Jan Krentz and she did respond right away, which was a pleasant surprise. She did try to assist me with the math to cut down the rest of the project to fit, but I really didn't want such a small quilt. This would have made it a crib size, vs the larger size I wanted. I got discouraged and put it all away. I recycled the trapezoids into a paper pieced quilt and still have batik triangles bagged up to reuse another day. I am planning another quilt with different fabrics hopefully in the near future.
