Thread: Hunting for block name.

    You know what? They have a picture of this block on the website but all their information and directions are for a different "prairie queen block". I don't think we have found the correct name for this particular block yet. Keep searching, please.

    There are some blocks that have many names.

    There are some block names that have several designs.

    It can be confusing.

    I redrew it on a 14 x 14 grid - now it looks more like the original post.

    And on a 16 x 16 grid.

    Yep, I found it in block base and it's Prairie Queen and I didn't see any other name for it, there is also another block by that name that doesn't look anything like it.

    Interesting. I will be checking back to see if anyone has come up with a name. So many times, our pioneer folks moved on, had patterns they assigned a new name for or adapted them a bit. A quilt museum might be the place to ask for name of that block.
