Husbands and quilting - a funny

My husband is very much an enabler, and also shares my passion for vintage machines. So when we made a trip to St. Louis to pick up a machine, he was fine stopping at Missouri Quilt Block Company for the afternoon.

He had a lot of fun, as most of their stores also had a vintage machine or two, and he loves talking machines. We were at the "main" store and while I was looking at fabric, my husband was looking at some of the vintage machines around the store. They had a back room where some women were sewing, and several old machine in there, so he walked in and started chatting with them, having a good time.

Imagine my surprise when I found my husband taking to Jenny Doan about her vintage iron collection!
My name is Cathy - and I'm addicted to old sewing machines and their attachments.

I agree. Any man that can entertain himself in a quilt store is a keeper.

    Great story
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

Wonderful fun! Hang on to that man! My DH has also learned to chat with people, also. Nice when they do that...allows more shopping time!
