I recently sold my FUM without the instructions and the buyer wants the user's guide that came with it. Can't find it for the life of me. Also, for someone who has the attachment, is there some sort of separate black square that is used to hold small fabric on the machine? I don't recall anything like that. I only set the attachment up once then lost interest.

Also, if this black square piece exists at all. She said she saw it on the DVD. I am hoping to make this buyer happy because the sale of this helped with my mortgage payment. Does this sound like I am pleading for help? Sorry. Hope this isn't too much off topic. Sincere thank you for anyone who can take time on this.

Hello. Thanks for replying. I contacted Husqvarna and they said they no longer have any dealing with the FUM, and I even contacted a couple local dealers, and none of them have carry it. Seems like they were hopping off the shelves then there was no support afterward. I bought mine originally for $900 PLUS tax, and sold for $400 and I never used it, but had thrown the original box out. Thanks again.

I have the Fab U Motion...not the one with stitch regulator...is that the one you had...because I only pd 69.00 for mine. I know the one I have went for 0/200 in the beginning but then they wanted to get rid of them. I took mine out of the box once and like you never pulled it out again. Mine did not come with a booklet just one sheet of paper with very little instruction...Also no middle plate you are talking abt...

I have the fabumotion (new in box) and only used it once because I bought a full size floor model quilting machine. I keep everything together. I still have the dvd and the one sheet instruction. This model has the stitch regulator. The way this is set up, you don't put anything on top of the material. You lay the material on top of the fabumotion to sew it. I can't find any little black thing she can be talking about. I have company coming in 3 minutes but as soon as they leave, I will watch the dvd and see if I can see what she is talking about and get back with you. I can send you a copy of the picture of the box front and a copy of the one sheet instruction if that would help.

I too made the mistake and had to have one. Took it out of the box, used it once and no, I don't like it either.

I'm curious as to why none of you who only tried it once didn't return it for a refund.

I have one and I love it. Mine does not have the stitch regulator and my machine is not compatible to work with one like that. I bought mine from a friend on another board and I have a manual and the DVD and all it says to do is to place the machine under your machine so the opening on the table thing os over the throat plate and to make sure it moves smothley so it won't hot the quilting foot. I used a piece of tape to mark it so I have no problems with it hitting the quilting foot. Then I put my quilt or project on it and go to town. They have some square things that look like just a square that you can put on top of the project so it keeps it from bunching and the like. I saw them at our Sew & Vac store and they did have FUM there too. Mine is the Inspia fabu motion and paid $50.00 for it. I love it. I know I'll never be able to afford a long arm. Grrr... Huggies, Fay

Okay, I watched the dvd and the piece she is talking about is an accessory she can purchase called Fabric Mover Guide. It does not come with the Fab U Motion. The sheet that came with mine only tells how to put it together and list the contents of the box. The contents include:l. Fab-U-Motion Platform, 2. Stitch RTegulator Module, 3. Foot Switch, 4. Power Supply, 5. Connector Cord.
I can mail you a copy of the sheet of paper that came with it if you like or I can fax it to you.
