I do the FabShopHop every other month so that my DH won't get mad at me for being on the computer so long each day. I remember someone's comment about how long it took to hear that she had won a prize & another lady was going to be charged for the shipping of her prize. I received notice that I had won a small $25 item from the April Hop. I won 4 yards of different white on white & beige on white fabric & I wasn't asked to pay for the shipping which made me very happy. I was so pleased because I didn't have anything like that in my stash. Now I'll be playing those FabShopHops more often because if nothing else, they have nice downloadable patterns for quilts. And I have found some fantastic on-line quilt shops that I would never have known about had I not entered the shop hop, or heard about them from the ladies on this board.

I won one of the two grand prize one year doing the Fabshop Hop. It was a Brother pq 1500s quilting machine. I didn't have to pay shipping or taxes. It was delivered to my front door. Many shops that give gift certificates won't use the certificates to include shipping. That is up to the shop.
