Funny, my hubby just called and asked if I wanted my cyanotype supplies outside. At first I was confused, then remembered I had just done some printing, then came in to find my granddaughter needed help with the purse she was making, and before I answered her question, hubby told me about Leah's email. So, I left my blanket, films and large glass piece outside all night! Thank you, Lord, that we got no hail last night! Once I heard about the email announing I was a finalist, I just forgot everything, and had to run over to my daughter's house to tell her in person, about the quilt of her being accepted.

My quilt did not make the final cut. See here for more:
http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-157047-1.htm Of course I am disappointed, but not too much. It truly was a great honor to be chosen as a finalist. And I learned so much! Then, of course is the consolation prize - uber cool.
