I have fun with pinwheels on baby quilts. Shoo fly is also a good one...not any harder than a nine patch.

I use the Rail Fence pattern a lot. It is easy & looks so nice when you have finished it. Good luck picking your pattern.

Snow ball is an easy and fun one to make. If you have time fussy cut the square and add colorfull corners. If all corners throught out the quilt are the same color you will get a secondary pattern! You can make these blocks any size you want!

My favorite pattern is Swirl by P&B Textiles. It is just HST but the way you use the fabric makes a great design.

Disappearing nine patch is easy and you get a really great look. there is a tutorial on here somewhere.... good luck finding the RIGHT pattern...

Disappearing 9 patch is my current passion. It's super simple and gives great looking quilts. Lots of ways you can tweak it and get a compeletly different look.
