All the patterns seem to be made for a smaller size then that would fit a queen bed. Is there books tha do bigger sizes?

Welcome from another Colorado quilter. With most patterns you can just add more blocks to increase it to a queen size.

Sometimes, you can increase the size of the blocks to make the quilt bigger, or add more borders to make it the correct size for your bed.
