How do you get your star points to align well? I am doing this pattern, http://www.bluemountainquiltersguild...ain%20Star.pdf, and some of my points are alligning but not all, is there a trick to this I do not know about?

I agree-pin. But start with an accurate and constant 1/4 inch seam allowance. Since I started using my 1/4 inch foot I find my star points go together easier and more accurately.
Good luck!

Can't see the photo of what you are trying to make... but thin silk pins are helpful... align your seams and points (where your stitching crosses other stitching) and pin on each side. Sew slowly.

I agree. The only way I can get mine to aline is with LOTS of pins.

And go slowly. Hurrying will get you uneven seams.

Make sure when you pin that your seams match, not the outside edges..those can be trimmed to be even...

Here's the pdf file for those who couldn't get it to pull up:

Pretty quilt! You're going to show us when you're done..right? :)
