Unhappy I am soooooo mad at myself

I had to refigure a throw pattern to make it a queen. I needed to have 60 1/2 sq triangles so I would have to cut 30 squares....not me I cut 60 squares of them not only to one fabric but with 2, any ideas on what to make with the extras, they are 6 7/8 squares. Not only am I upset over that but I could have gotten away with alot less fabric. I could have used that $ towards fabric for another project !!!

I agree with bearisgray. Sew the pieces together like you did with the first quilt. Then lay out the squares in a totally different layout. Have fun with the layout and see what you come up with. You will be getting two quilts that way

I say just keep sewing them together like you are already doing and you will get a second quilt or a backing that is the same as the front.

Maybe you could make some throw pillows or a coordinating wall hanging to go with the quilt.

i'm sure we've all been there. there are so many wonderful patterns that use hst's. keep browsing the pics here and on the net for the one pattern that will fit your fabric/colors.
