I could not find any info on TSA .

I have a friend who used a dental floss containter to cut the tread because she couldn't take scissors.

Needles and thread are not a problem, small scissor are allowed.
Last I looked the blades had to be under 4" so I took a pair of manicure scissors without any problems.

Sweet .. Thank you I have a 2 hour lay over and wanted to bring a small project to bind. I will bring cheap supplies in case they tae them on me.
